World Roma Congress in Berlin 2023

Roma Center e.V. from Göttingen, in collaboration with various partner organizations, including the Romani European Union JEKHIPE, with the support of German authorities and European institutions, successfully organized the World Romani Congress, which took place in Berlin on May 15th and 16th, 2023.

The Congress brought together experts, activists, and representatives of Romani communities from around the world, with the goal of advancing Romani rights, promoting inclusion, and strengthening international cooperation. Key topics included education, employment, housing, and the fight against discrimination.
